A Nights Stay at the Roach Motel

So on Sunday I was going to get a spoon out of the drawer and a HUGE cockroach was climbing all over the silverware and it totally freaked me out.

I grabbed the only bug spray that I had and I just started spraying. The cockroach climbed out of the drawer and down the cabinet to where all our pots and pans were. When I went to spray it under the cabinets I saw two more that were stuck butt to butt and I was afraid that they were mating and I was NOT going to have baby cockroaches playing about. So my "knight in shining armor" a.k.a Collette grabbed the spray and sprayed the crap out of them until they died. It was so funny watching her yell at them as she sprayed them into a very slow and painful death. So we pulled all the pots and pans out of the cabinet and washed them all to make sure that none of them had icky stuff on them (they are all in the Arizona room right now).

It took us about a week to finally pull all the rest of the stuff out of the cabinets, pick up the dead cockroaches spray. We just finished spraying and cleaning everything. Now we are just waiting for the toxic smell to dissipate so we can put everything back together. Don't worry Parker is in my room and wont be allowed out without supervision.

So while we wait we are off to Adrienne's house for a dip in the pool because its about a million degree outside and we're starting to get high off the fumes!!

My trip to Maryland/D.C.

So I graduated on Friday morning and left for Maryland Saturday morning. I flew out to Maryland to help Jennifer Belnap with the move from Maryland to California. I took the kids to preschool and the tot lot, made a ton of mac and cheese and just helped out with whatever needed to help made the move just that much easier. One Sunday night after dinner we all went to D.C. to see the monuments (Jen loves to see them at night). That was so much fun. Thanks Jen and Drew for taking me!

So this wasn't from D.C. or  anything but I just love Kaley's facial expression in this picture.

Of course we had to take a picture with CA

World War II momument

Emma being silly.

Kaley and Emma Belnap

Emma wanted to take my picture all by herself.

This was so cool. These images were etched into the wall and you had to look at it from a certain angle to see it!!

Here is Emma posing for me in front of the AZ one!

We had so much fun being silly!

One of these things just doesn't belong here.

This is the girls favorite thing to do at the FDR memorial! This was right before Kaley had an accident and was running around naked...

I'm not exactly sure what the girls were doing but they look like they were having so much fun.

They loved playing on the dog.

Emma was being so funny. I love this picture we both look so cute!

Graduation and more!

So I finally did. 5 years and I'm done with ASU. I graduated with my BA in Speech and Hearing. Now it's time to find a real job that will actually make some money. I'm not exactly sure what that will be but for now here are some pictures from my graduation party and the ceremony the next day.

Hilary, Shelly, Shauna, Madison and Yale

Melissa, Me, Robert and Kerby

Mom's beautiful spread for the party. The food was soooo good. Thanks mom!

Making the pizzas!!!

So my friends and I decided that it would be so much fun to make pizzas from scratch. So after the afternoon session of General Conference my friends all came over and we made pizzas, calzones, cheezy bread and dessert pizza. We had so much fun learning how to knead dough. Shelly served her mission in Italy so we had fresh mozzarella cheese and everything. It was so much fun!!

Diana's grading the none fresh mozzarellea cheese, Val started kneading the dough for her pizza.

Here is Shelly kneading her dough for her pizza.

Val thinking about tossing the pizza but decided against it because I have low ceilings...go Val.

Shauna making cheezy bread.

Shelly's amazing pizza...

Val's pizza with 4 different toppings all separated...

My calzone full of cheese and pineapple....just the way I like it!!!

Now we are baking the pizzas....

And the messy kitchen....luckily all my friends stayed to help clean up the mess. It was so much fun. I love pizza so much!!

Diamond Backs Game

So My roommate Lissa works for a lawyer and he has season tickets to the Diamond Backs. He gave all the girls in his office tickets to the pre-game but no one was able to go so Lissa took us with her. It was a very boring game but we found ways to entertain our selves...

Here we are before the game starts...Me, Patrick, Lissa (roommate) and Daniel

The B.O.B. or Bank One Ball Fields. Well actually it's called Chase Ball Fields but we like calling it BOB better.

I gave Patrick the camera and he took a picture of the guy sitting in front of us...I think Patrick liked his hair cut.

Lissa and Daniel trying so hard to pay attention to the game...I think this was at the 3rd inning!

We gave up trying to watch the game...it was just too painful!

Well we decided that maybe sleeping wasn't the best idea so we found something else to keep ourselves busy! ;-)

I guess lissa and Daniel decided to do something else...Lissa has Daniel's glasses on and Daniel has my glasses on.

This is one of those self portraits pictures where everyone bearly fits in the shot...well actually I had the camera zoomed in and didn't realize it. My Bad! I actually really like this picture.

Here is the same picture just zoomed out! I still like the other one better.

Lissa got greedy and was trying to put on all the glasses.

Patrick was really excited that he got one of the free shirts that they were tossing out into the stands.
